Jacks-Up
'Jack's up' refers to a rule in drinking card games like King's Cup where a drawn Jack means the player can create a new, arbitrary rule that must be followed by everyone for the rest of the game. Examples of these rules include only drinking with the left hand or not being allowed to use people's first names. Any player who breaks the established Jack rule must drink, but the person who drew the Jack also has the power to overturn any previously established Jack rule.
This is a serious drinking game which requires no skill whatsoever.
Each player in turn is revealed a card, if it is a picture card the following rules apply otherwise its on to the next player.
- Jack: Player takes a shot of his/her choice
- Queen: Player nominates a lass to take a shot
- King: Player nominates a bloke to take a shot
- Joker: Player nominates anyone to take a shot
